We ask that you help skaters to stay off the ice during the school day.  We know it is community maintained but it is very hard to supervise and monitor who is and who is not on the ice while our Gators are outside for nutrition breaks.  Thanks for helping us to maintain a safe environment.

Also, there are 3 long pages of rules that staff need to adhere to in order to allow students any ice time during the school day.  I have given them the guidelines but do not expect any teacher to provide this option unless they are very, very comfortable.  It would be optional for students as well, with alternate activities for those choosing not to take part.  Thanks for understanding the guidelines and need to put safety and liability first.
