Stanley Park Senior Public School has been an important part of the local community since it was built in 1964.

Additional classrooms have been added over the years, providing an academic home for approximately 400 Grade 7 and 8 students. Stanley Park also has one congregated class (ACE) for Life Skills.

In addition to the core subjects taught in English, Stanley Park also has a French Immersion program. Also, students at Stanley Park have access to a Band and Strings program and a variety of sports intramural activities. In recent years, students have had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports teams, Leadership Club, Yearbook Club, and GSA.  We also offer a range of clubs driven by student interest Environmental Club, Dungeons & Dragons and Chess Club.  It is a busy place!

Stanley Park values each student for the unique talents that they bring.  We are an inclusive community and therefore try to find ways to keep students engaged through activities in the broader community like Terry Fox runs or fundraising for a variety of philanthropic organizations.  Stanley Park  also prides itself on being a AAA school – Academics, Athletics and Arts.  We encourage all of our students to strive consistently to do their best in all three of these key areas.  This helps them to become well-rounded citizens of the school, as well as the world.

We are a scent-free school. Please avoid use of heavy perfumes and sprays.

Due to severe nut allergies at Stanley Park School, we ask all students to bring a peanut-free lunch.
