We do not believe that requests for your son or daughter to be in a certain class is appropriate. However, we do know that at times there are variables that would be helpful for us to understand when we are making class lists for September 2015-2016. IF you feel it is necessary for us to know something of importance when it comes to placing your student in a class please put it in writing to me, the principal, before the end of May. Make sure you have delivered it to the office.
At the end of June we ask that you call to follow up on your request, and again we ask that you follow up at the end of August. Please do not confuse the process we have in place with any form of encouragement to make a class placement request since we really do not support this practice.
