Welcome back to school Gators. Our first day of school is Tuesday September 8, 2015. A few reminders to get you off to a good start.
- Supervision starts at 8:20
- Doors open at 8:30 and all students enter the gym – grade 7 students enter the front of the gym across from the office and grade 8 students enter the back of the gym by the change rooms.
- Students look for their name on the posted class list and wait for their homeroom teacher to walk them to their classroom (we are there to help if you cannot find your name).
- Bring your lock if you have one (we sell them if not), a writing utensil, and lunch or snacks for the day.
- You will be with your homeroom all day on Tuesday but it is a day one. Therefore, Wednesday September 9 is a Day 2 on the 6 day cycle.
- Parents are asked to find a safe spot to drop off their student if they are driving them (we prefer if they walk if they are not a bus student). Please try to find a spot that does not require having students cross the road. Safety first please.
- Students may bring a backpack and a Digital Device and they will hear about our expectations regarding both on the first day.
- Parent/guardians – some paper will come home on Tuesday but most of our September Package will be posted on this website. The WRDSB is going paperless as much as possible. Please refer to this website as often as possible.
- A Welcome Letter is definitely coming home on Tuesday and shares other details that will be important for you to know for a successful start.
- Students do not leave school property between 8:30 and 3:00 (unless they have a note and have signed out at the office).
- We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday Gators!!!!!
