The transition to Grade 7 at Stanley Park is an important one.  We aim to communicate on this website, along with sharing valuable information with the principals of each of our feeder schools.  They will post information to their own school website as they see fit.  Our staff will be working closely with each school to ensure the best transition possible for our future Gators.  Please see below a brief outline and timeline for this spring for our grade 6 students.
March to April 21       Our guidance counselor, Mr. S Gleeson will make arrangements to visit each school, say hello to                                           students coming to Stanley and extend an invite to our evening orientation.
Mr. S. Gleeson will also introduce himself to the staff of each school to open up our                        partnership between schools.

April 21, 1:00-2:30    All grade 6 students from our feeder schools will come to Stanley Park for an introduction to     our building and staff.
Mr. S. Gleeson will make these arrangements.

May 2, 7:00                All grade 6 students and their parents are invited to Stanley for 7:00 for a presentation.
Mr. S. Gleeson will make these arrangements.

May                             Transition meetings will start to happen between our SERT, our counselor, our CYW and                                                      administration regarding sharing information about students for the purposes of transitions and     class building (we do not encourage requests for class placement but if it is absolutely necessary the request must come in writing to the principal before the end of May, 2016).

June                            Individual tours and contact where necessary.

August                       Follow up tours or meetings for students where necessary
