We are very proud of our Gators with respect to our BYOD. Students have worked hard to embrace the guidelines we have established to help our school be safe and run smoothly with regard to digital citizenship. A few reminders are in order:
- No photos or videos are to be taken at school
- Students must have permission from the teacher to use their device during instruction time
- Devices are not used once the student enters the school at 8:30 – 3:00 except once they step outside at second break or if they have explicit supervision permission from a staff member
- Do not take part in any anonymous social media
- You are responsible for your device but your parents/guardians actually own it
If students have a device taken away a parent will have to retrieve it for the student from the office at 3:00.
