December 2nd, 2016
Thank you to all of the families who generously donated winter coats for the Helping Hands Coat Drive. It was a huge success and over 100 coats with personally written letters from students were handed out at city hall.
Sadly, many homeless walked away empty handed. As a result, the Helping Hands Club is holding another drive and will be handing out goods on December 7th at Kitchener City Hall. We will be collecting hats, coats, mittens, backpacks, boots, socks and plastic containers. The plastic containers allow patrons of the Soup Kitchen to pack additional food for take away.
There are boxes for collection in the front foyer of our school.
Once again thank you for supporting our community and helping students to show empathy and spread kindness to others.
