The winter can be long and cold. Our staff offer many activities for students during nutrition breaks but it is expected that students be prepared to go outside for the recess part of both breaks each school day. During that 20 minutes outside break, two times a day there are a few reminders that might help things run more smoothly at Stanley
Students are asked to stay out of the staff parking lot – basically off the ashphalt
Teachers will review the supervision boundaries as students are often moving outside the site lines of teachers
Students are asked to use the facilities before going outside to avoid the need to re-enter the school as this is unsupervised time
Students are reminded to keep their hands to themselves, and to make good choices with their words and language
Students are reminded to review the details of our BYOD as devices are only used outside at second nutrition break
Students are asked not to push, kick or crowd the entry doors upon entry (we are looking at several thousand dollars worth of damage due to this type of activity presently).
Thanks for reviewing a few of the items with our Gators in order to help our school be the best it can be.
