The tennis courts at Stanley Park are part of the City of Kitchener.  A community member works to turn the tennis courts into a winter ice rink for community use each year.  The weather has cooperated on and off this season but we are hopeful that it can be saved after this mild week.  We have asked our Gators to stay off the surface.

Once the surface is ready for use we always ask our students to go home upon dismissal from school at 3:00, drop off their knapsack and with permission and appropriate supervision return to use the rink.  Students are NOT permitted to use the rink after school as we do not have supervision for it.

It is a great community opportunity for recreation and winter fun to have the ice rink in our neighbor hood, and we thank Serge Solski for being a wonderful community volunteer.
