September 2, 2014 will be the first day of the 2014-2015 school year. My name is Ms Sandy Dawson and I am the new principal at Stanley Park. Stanley Park has always had a great reputation in the WRDSB and I am very pleased to be a part of this enthusiastic team of educators, families and students.
Students, we ask that you arrive at school on Tuesday September 2th and make your way to the gym at 8:40. You will find your class list on the wall – you will wait there for your teacher to come and take you to your class. There will be lots of staff members wearing vests to help you if needed. Tuesday you will not have rotary, rather you will be with your homeroom class and teachers for the day. The whole first day will be filled with activities to help prepare you for a great year at Stanley Park.
Families and students, I encourage you to “Subscribe by Email” on our Stanley Park Website (this website) so that every time we post something here, it will be emailed directly to you. There will not be a formal newsletter, rather most information will be communicated here. There will be times that paper copies will come home. Please get into the habit of checking the website often for updates.
