After spending some time with our School Council, GSA, PAC and asking homeroom teachers to review our dress code with classes, we are confident that our Gators will respect the basic premises that we agreed on in order to allow Stanley Park to be a respectful environment for all.
We ask students to be neat, clean and appropriate. Although “appropriate” may mean different things to different people we ask that the private parts of our bodies be covered when students are standing, sitting or bending.
We have agreed that we will first try to educate our students and hope that all will respect our learning environment at Stanley Park. Coaching conversations may also be part of the process we follow in order to educate our students and of course phone calls to parents may result as well. Guidelines are outlined in our student planner for review.
Thanks for helping us to keep learning as the focus at Stanley Park.
